Halloween Snacks

Hello Everyone!

Welcome to my Halloween series! I am so excited to write this series of blog posts as Halloween is one of my favourite times of the year. I love the colours, all the decorations that you can buy and make, and I especially love all of the delicious Halloween snacks you can create. For the first post in this series, I have decided to make two snacks that are easy, delicious and also so fun to make. Let’s get started!

Candy Corn Inspired Dessert

You Will Need:

  • Orange Jelly
  • Yellow Jelly
  • Whipped Cream
  • Tropical Fruit (Optional)
  • Serving Glasses

What To Do:

  1. Make the yellow jelly using the instructions on the box and allow to cool for a few minutes.
  2. Pour the jelly into your serving glasses until they are 1/3 full and place in the refrigerator to set.
  3. Make the orange jelly and allow to cool until it is almost cold, as you don’t want this to melt the yellow jelly.
  4. Pour the orange jelly on top of the yellow until the glass is 2/3 full and place back into the fridge to set.
  5. Once all of the jelly is set, it is time to place a few pieces of diced tropical fruit on top of the jelly and complete with a swirl of whipped cream.

Jack o Lantern Ice Cream Float (Spider)

You Will Need:

  • Fanta
  • Vanilla Ice Cream
  • Serving Glasses
  • Black Sharpie

What To Do:

  1. Using a black Sharpie, draw a few different Jack o Lantern faces onto the front of your serving glasses.
  2. Once you are happy with the faces, place a spoonful or two of vanilla ice cream into each glass.
  3. Top up each glass with Fanta and watch the ice cream begin to foam.
